Commercials

I also write commercials, for example here is a quick trip one that I wrote:

Cast: Allen Anderson, Carla Winters, Brenda Anderson, Jamal Wilson as Quick Trip Worker, Narrator
Script for Quick Trip Commercial
Setting: On A Walk
Brenda: Allen, we need some more drinks, don’t you think so?
Allen: Yes I do, but we are tight on money and we can’t find drinks within our budget.
Carla: Hey Allen and Brenda, I couldn’t help but over here that you need drinks at really low cost, Is that correct?
Brenda: Yeah, why? 0.49
Carla: Well, Your in luck because a quick trip is right by our neighborhood and they have fountain drinks starting as low as 49 cents but that’s not all they also serve food and coffee for when you need to wake up and they have Gas for your car. How great is that?!
Allen: Well, that’s very great Carla, but 49 cents is pretty cheap surely it’d be a little bit higher, right?
Carla: Nope, not in the slightest and the 49 cents that you pay is good for a 32 ounce drink. No joke.
Brenda: Well Allen, looks like I know where I’m headed.
Allen: Sure but I’ll win.
Brenda: You wish!
5 seconds later…
Allen: Okay we’re here.
Brenda: Let’s go inside!
Jamal: Hi there welcome to Quick Trip my name is Jamal; just let me know if you need anything, I’d be glad to help you!
Allen: Thank you! (To Brenda) wow, nice customer service around here.
Brenda: Jamal.
Jamal: Yes how can I make your experience better?
Brenda: Could you show us where your 49 cent drinks are, please?
Jamal: I’d be glad to. They are right back here. (Leads them to it) Anything specific drink I can help you find?
Allen: No, I think we’re good, Thanks so much!
Jamal: No problem, and if you need me. I’ll be at Register 2.
Allen: Ready to check out Brenda?
Brenda: Yes.
Carries a lot of drinks to the counter
Brenda: Sorry we can’t help it when we see a good deal! There’s just no other deal like this one.
Jamal: That’s totally fine! In fact, I love getting myself some sprite from our selections. When I first started working here, we had that deal, and I couldn’t believe it either. Okay and your total is 2 dollars and 45 cents. You saved a total of 7 dollars. Have a great day!
Carla enters
Carla: Hey Jamal! Hey Brenda and Allen, didn’t I tell you that it was a good deal!
Jamal: Hey Carla! Bye Brenda and Allen, nice to meet you, come again!
Allen: Oh we will!
Jamal: What can I get you Carla?
Carla: I just came for a couple fountain drinks.
Jamal: Alright, you know where to find me if you need anything.
Carla gets 3 fountain drinks
Jamal: Alright Carla, your total is 1 dollar and 23 cents, you saved a total of 4 dollars.
Carla: Alright bye Jamal! Thanks so much, I’m off!
Jamal: Alright bye Carla!
Carla Exits
Jamal: I love my job!
Narrator: So as you can see, Quick Trip is a great place to see friendly faces, gather drinks or snacks! Make your next stop at a Quick Trip near you.

Mother Abbess: Relax, my dear. Have you checked outside?
Sister Margaretta: Yes, Mother. I have checked the storehouses, the fountain, and around the postern gate… But she is nowhere to find.
Sister Berthe: She is not in the chapel too, Mother. Neither the refectory and her room. [sighs] Oh. Where is she?
MA: Oh, well. Always the same everytime. [sighs] Maria…
SM-SB: [sighs] Maria…
Maria Enters
M: [grumps] Okay. I know I am late.
MA: And where have you been, my dear?
SM: You missed the Holy Communion. Again.
M: [sighs] I am from… The hill, Mother.
SB: The hill again. What will happen if you get lost?
M: Oh, I will not get lost! I am the friend of the the nature.
MA: [sighs] Maria, my child. There is something I want to tell you, actually, Sisters you may leave now.
SM-SB: Yes, Mother.
SM: [to Maria] You are in trouble, young lady.
SM-SB Leave
M: [deep breath] What is it, Mother? Will I… Get a punishment? I know I have missed the Holy Communion twice already, and I am so undisciplined and all…
MA: Ho. [gentle] No, that is not it, my dear. I see that you still want to be free. Maybe the Abbey is not ready for you yet, Maria.
M: It is not? But… Then… I… But I am in my way to be a nun, Mother!
MA: Yes, yes, I know you are. But, dear, you need time.
M: So… You mean that I have to wait?
MA: Yes. Hmmm. Well, there is actually a captain with seven children who needs a governess.
M: SEVEN CHILDREN?!
MA: That is right. But they told me that three of them have lived with their grandparents in Berlin, so there are just four who stay with their father, here, actually.
M: Four! Oh! What a relief… But where is their mother? Does she live with them too?
MA: Their mother died 5 years ago. That was the reason why the captain quit from the navy.
M: Oh, dear. Poor children…
MA: Yes. They must be very lonely. So, have you guessed your new duty?
M: Oh… Do I have to be their governess?
MA: Yes. You are going to be their governess until you find yourself ready for this abbey.
M: Yes, Mother. I will.
